Premium Based Alloys are a special blend of Tungsten Carbide Particles and a High content Matrix to form a Heavy Wear, Hardsurfacing Material designed to
withstand the heaviest wear applications. Such applications include, Oil Drilling where there is the presence of hard rock formations. Milling Tools that have the presence of alloy based materials lost downhole, and extreme wear conditions of snow
removal equipment such as Commercial Airports and Government Landing Strips.
Premium Based Alloys are not designed to withstand high impact, although it's chemical analysis will withstand all high wear conditions and most chemical
compounds.
All Premium Based Alloys are to be applied with Oxygen and Acetylene Torches and it is preferred that the apparent material be preheated to 600 degrees Fahrenheit. Torch and Rod material should be held at a 45 degree angle opposite of
each other and maintain and steady and consistent flow of material.
